Kala Art & Yoga Studio, located at 4301 N. Wickham Road, Unit 3 in Melbourne, prides itself in creating balance and urges the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

Many people do this through diet and exercise, which is effective, but the practice of yoga is a positive addition to any lifestyle to encourage positivity and self-awareness that will enhance, not only health, but communication in our relationships.

Evelyn Esperanca, owner and instructor at Kala Art & Yoga Studio, has practiced yoga for more than 15 years and is a big believer in meditation.

Evelyn Esperanca, owner and instructor at Kala Art & Yoga Studio, has practiced yoga for more than 15 years and is a big believer in meditation.

“If everyone would meditate for just one minute, we would change the world,” said Esperanca.

Esperanca feels strongly about what our society has witnessed lately in the behavior of kids and adolescents expressing acts of bullying, suicide and even violence.

This has led Esperanca to offer programs in the community like Summer Camp and to share the benefits of yoga and art expression.

Kala Art & Yoga Studio is hosting a Summer Camp Open House on Saturday that will feature FREE mini yoga classes for kids of all ages, art projects and fun activities for the whole family.

“Art is the perfect way to teach children to express feelings, which we naturally have, whether it’s happiness, sadness, anger or even rage. Through art they learn how to express and feel without suppression and confusion,” said Esperanca.

Guests will have the opportunity to visit the studio, find out more about the exciting program, meet the instructors and learn why art and yoga are an excellent choice for your child this summer.

Discounted prices are available, but limited, to secure your child’s spot in the Summer Camp.
