Violation of Probation Warrants for Felony Battery and Possession of Controlled Substance

On Tuesday, members of our GAME OVER Task Force arrested Haylee Gardner for two active felony Violation of Probation Warrants for Felony Battery and Possession of Controlled Substance.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Members of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office GAME OVER Task Force on Tuesday arrested Haylee Gardner for two active felony Violation of Probation Warrants for Felony Battery and Possession of Controlled Substance.

The arrest was the result of numerous tips from our citizens who had seen Gardner on the “Wheel of Fugitive” where she had recently been a contestant but was never lucky enough to be the “Fugitive of the Week.”

Even still over the course of the past week, our Fugitive Unit received several tips that Gardner was seen at multiple locations throughout Titusville and Cocoa.

On Tuesday, another tip was received that placed Gardner in the area of Port St. John near where our Game Over Task Force was working.

GAME OVER Agents were able to subsequently take Gardner into custody without incident after she initially attempted to give a false name to the Agents.

BREVARD COUNTY SHERIFF WAYNE IVEY: Haylee Gardner’s arrest image as it appeared on the June 12 edition of “Wheel of Fugitive” where she had recently been a contestant but was never lucky enough to be the “Fugitive of the Week.” It’s obvious Gardner changed her appearance and had no intentions of being captured.

Apparently, she is as bad at lying as she is at playing hide and seek as she later admitted to knowing she had active felony warrants for her arrest and to also knowing she had been a contestant on the “Wheel of Fugitive.”

Gardner was transported to the Brevard County Jail where she was detained for the two felony arrest warrants on a No Bond Status.

This arrest is yet another great example of the success of “Wheel of Fugitive” and what happens when citizens and Law Enforcement partner together to protect a community.

Great Job Everyone.
