BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA– The Children’s Advocacy Center of Brevard recently moved to a new location at 1100 Rockledge Boulevard in Rockledge and will hold an Open House on Wednesday, July 11, from 9 a.m to 11 a.m.

Partnering with the Space Coast Health Foundation, they purchased the building to house, in one place, the teams responsible for child abuse investigations: the Department Of Children and Families, Child Protection Team, the Brevard County Sheriffs Office, the States Attorney’s Office and mental health providers.

Having all of these agencies located in one child-friendly environment helps the children tell their story, ensures their safety, supports caregivers, and holds offenders accountable.

It all begins in the new lobby where the fun-filled, colorful wall art creates a friendly welcome.

Recently, artists from the Studios of Cocoa Beach completed decorating the lobby in the Children’s Advocacy Center of Brevard’s new facility.

Working with a concept created by Jeanie Raciti, the Center Director and designer Clay Stephens, artists from the Studios turned that vision into a reality. Artist Marsha Houck designed and painted colorful silhouettes of children at play on the 17-foot wall.

One of the ways companies and individuals can support the Children’s Advocacy Center of Brevard is to sponsor a room or buy a balloon.
