UPDATE: Cocoa Beach Police Investigation Continues After Dead Man Found In Parking Lot of McDonald’s Restaurant

Cocoa Beach Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of an unknown male individual, believed to be in his 30s or 40s, found in the rear parking lot of the McDonald’s restaurant at about 10:30 a.m., located at 3920 N. Atlantic Avenue.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – Cocoa Beach Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of an unknown man believed to be in his 30s or 40s, found in the rear parking lot of the McDonald’s restaurant, located at 3920 N. Atlantic Avenue.

“Investigators have cleared the scene,” said Cocoa Beach Deputy Chief Wes Mullins.

“There does not appear to be any obvious signs of trauma to the body nor suspected foul play. The decedent has been turned over to the Medical Examiner’s Office pending autopsy and toxicology results. At this time, investigators are attempting to make a positive identification and notify Next of Kin.”

The yet-to-be-identified man was found at about 10:30 a.m. on Friday.

According to the Cocoa Beach police, this appears to be an isolated incident and there is no safety concern for the community.
