UPDATE: FHP Identify Motorcyclist, 26, Killed After Crash On I-95 Near Viera

Florida Highway Patrol found a motorcyclist dead on I-95 Sunday morning near mile marker 193 in Viera.

BREVARD COUNTY •  VIERA, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol found a motorcyclist dead on I-95 Sunday morning near mile marker 193 in Viera.

FHP has identified the motorcyclist as 26-year-old Brad Panek from Cocoa.

Troopers say a motorist called 911 after seeing Panek along the shoulder around 6:30 a.m.

The preliminary investigation reveals that Panek was traveling southbound in his 2004 Honda motorcycle along I-95 when the left side of his motorcycle struck the guardrail and ejected him off the bike.

After an examination, the medical examiner believes the crash happened around midnight.

Florida Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash.
