Florida East Coast Railway Society To Host ‘Trains, Trains, Trains’ Event July 21at Cocoa Library

Memorabilia and model train collector Jerry Groothouse will be available

The Florida East Coast Railway Society will host its annual “Trains, Trains, Trains” event on Saturday, July 21 at Catherine Schweinsberg Rood Central Library, located at 308 Forrest Avenue in Cocoa.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – The Florida East Coast Railway Society will host its annual “Trains, Trains, Trains” event on Saturday, July 21 at Catherine Schweinsberg Rood Central Library, located at 308 Forrest Avenue in Cocoa.

Stop by 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to see the fecNtrak model train layout in operation, listen to a presentation on steam locomotive tools and equipment, examine railroad artifacts on display, and become a junior engineer by operating one of the trains on the layout.

Memorabilia and model train collector Jerry Groothouse will be available in the afternoon to offer appraisals, so be sure to bring your items.

The Florida East Coast Railway Society is a group of volunteers and hobbyists who share an interest in the Florida East Coast Railway, from its beginnings prior to 1895 through current operations and into the future.
