Florida Tech’s Adonis Davis Named To College Football America 2018 Yearbook Starting Lineup

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The College Football America 2018 Yearbook announced that Florida Tech senior Adonis Davis has been named to its Division II Starting Lineup, CFA’s version of an All-America team.
Davis, a senior defensive lineman from Columbus, Ohio, had a breakout season for the Panthers in 2017. He recorded 59 total tackles, 40 of the solo variety, while setting program single-season records with 19 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks last year.
Davis racked up numerous awards following the 2017 campaign. In addition to being voted to the All-Gulf South Conference First Team for the second year in a row, Davis was also named a Street & Smith’s Division II First Team All-America, Associated Press (AP) First Team All-America, American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Second Team All-America, Don Hansen Football Honorable Mention All-America and D2Football.com Honorable Mention All-America.
He was also a first-team All-Super Region 2 selection by D2CCA and the Don Hansen Football Committee.
The CFA 2018 Yearbook features more than 930 college football teams from the United States and Canada in more than 300 striking, full-color pages. That includes every team from the NCAA (FBS, FCS, Division II and Division III), NAIA, NJCAA, CCCAA and U Sports (Canada).
