Robyn Hattaway Endorsed By Sheriff Wayne Ivey For Port Canaveral Commission District 5

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Robyn Hattaway, Republican candidate for Canaveral Port Authority, District 5, has earned the endorsement of Brevard County Sherriff Wayne Ivey.

“Currently, Port Canaveral is the second busiest port in the world,” said Hattaway.

“With that distinction comes responsibility. Sherriff Ivey shares my goal of making sure all of our citizens and visitors are safe when traveling to and from Brevard County. As your Port Commissioner, I am committed to working closely with our Sheriff’s Office and our Federal law enforcement authorities to make certain that the safety of our port and citizens is a priority!”

Sherriff Ivey adds, “I have absolute confidence in Robyn to work closely with our agency to do everything she can for the safety of our citizens, while also doing everything possible to keep Port Canaveral one of the best places in the world to live, work, and enjoy!”

Hattaway is a business attorney and community volunteer, who lives on Merritt Island with her husband Aaron and two teenage sons, Willson, 15, and Davis, 13. She is running to represent District 5 on the Canaveral Port Authority. The seat is currently held by the Hon. Tom Weinberg who is not running again.
