ABOVE VIDEO: Cocoa Police Department is currently seeking information about an ongoing investigation involving a smash and grab burglary and theft that occurred on Friday, June 29, at the Tiger Mart located on 4301 SR 524.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Cocoa police officers are seeking information about an ongoing investigation involving a smash and grab burglary and theft that occurred on Friday, June 29, at the Tiger Mart located on 4301 State Road 524.

Police say the crime occurred on Friday, June 29, which showed surveillance video of a suspect breaking the front entry door using a sledgehammer at 1:07 a.m.

The suspect is seen entering through the broken glass door dragging a large garbage bin. The suspect then proceeded to go to the front counter area and began taking cartons of cigarettes and other items.

The suspect was in and out of the store in just over two minutes and was seen wearing grey pants, a black half-zip long sleeve jacket, black gloves, black work style shoes and a grey stocking covering the face.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Central Florida CRIMELINE at 1-800-423-TIPS (8477).

Callers will remain anonymous and can be eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000 in this case.
