Bob Freeman’s Weekend Surf Report For August 4-5

By  //  August 4, 2018

Waves this morning are running in the thigh- to waist-high range with bumpy conditions from a steady southeasterly wind. Bigger waves are running in the Satellite Beach area.

Good Morning, Surfers

Saturday
Waves this morning are running in the thigh- to waist-high range with bumpy conditions from a steady southeasterly wind. Bigger waves are running in the Satellite Beach area.

Sunday
I don’t expect much change for Sunday. Waves should continue in the thigh-high range with slightly cleaner conditions from an expected onshoe breeze. This may be the last of rideable waves as a long period flat spell is in my forecast.

Cocoa Beach ocean temperatures now average 84 degrees.
