Melbourne Police Department Introduces Six Resource Officers for the 2018-19 School Year

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Melbourne Police Department introduced six School Resource Officers on Wednesday via social media. 

The men and women who will answer the call of duty for the 2018-19 school year are Officers Valerie Butler, Mike Bullock, George Fornash, Jesus Lopez, Mark Brackett and Officer John Rodgers.

These officers will be on duty to greet you in the morning, help your child find their way to class, bring calm to chaos and watch out for your kids while standing in their corner to cheer them on when you can’t be there.

These officers will be on hand at West Shore Jr/ Sr High School, Stone Middle School, Palm Bay High School, Johnson Middle School, Eau Gallie High School and Melbourne High School.
