BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Merritt Island gave their fans quite a show in head coach Hurlie Brown’s debut with the Mustangs after they defeated Eau Gallie 33-27 in a overtime Kickoff Classic exhibition thriller.

Merritt Island’s season officially begins next Friday when they host the Holy Trinity Tigers. Kickoff set for 7 p.m.

Eau Gallie officially opens their season against Satellite at home Friday. Kickoff set for 7 p.m.
