State Attorney Phil Archer Endorses Tyler Sirois for Florida House of Representatives District 51

ARCHER Praises Sirois' integrity, professionalism

Tyler Sirois is a lifelong resident of Brevard County. He is married to Katy Sirois and together they have two children: Emma Kate, 4, and Jack, 1.

BREVARD COUNTY £ MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Brevard County State Attorney Phil Archer announced his endorsement of Republican Tyler Sirois for the District 51 seat in the Florida House of Representatives.

“Tyler will do an outstanding job representing not only the residents of District 51 but all Floridians,” said Archer in his endorsement statement.

“He is a compassionate conservative that will focus on improving educational and economic opportunities for our citizens while ensuring the continued safety and security of our community. Tyler is a dedicated family man who will bring integrity and professionalism to this position. Please join me in supporting Tyler Sirois in his election to the Florida House of Representatives.”

Sirois is the Executive Director of the Office of the State Attorney for the 18th Judicial Circuit.

“It is an honor to work alongside our prosecutors each day to make sure they have the resources and support necessary to seek justice,” Sirois said.

“As State Representative, I will continue my efforts to support our law enforcement, prosecutors, and the victims of crime. I am honored to have the support of and work alongside State Attorney Phil Archer.”

Phil Archer, center, was elected State Attorney of the 18th Judicial Circuit for Brevard and Seminole Counties in 2012 and took office on January 8, 2013. He served the office as an Assistant State Attorney for more than 28 years in a variety of positions prior to being elected.

Former Florida Senate President Mike Haridopolos has also endorsed Sirois for the District 51 seat in the Florida House of Representatives.

Haridopolos represented Brevard County in the Florida House of Representatives and the Florida Senate, presiding as Senate President from 2010 to 2012.

“Tyler is a trusted friend and solid conservative who will effectively advocate for Brevard County families and business owners,” said Haridopolos.

“Brevard needs strong voices in our state Capitol. Tyler will provide that voice for us to push for lower taxes, safe schools, cleaning up our lagoon, and standing up for our Second Amendment rights. I am proud to support Tyler Sirois for the Florida House!”

“I remember the ‘What’s a Haridopolos?’ campaign from when I was a younger man,” said Sirois.

“For me, the answer to that question has always been this: a family man, principled conservative, mentor and friend. Today, I am proud to add another answer: a Tyler Sirois supporter. I am grateful for his support.”

Sirois also received the endorsements of Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey and the Fraternal Order of Police.

“Tyler Sirois is a friend to law enforcement and strong supporter of public safety,” said Sheriff Ivey in his endorsement.

“As Executive Director of the State Attorney’s Office, Tyler has demonstrated his leadership abilities and fiscal conservatism. As president of the Friends of the Children’s Advocacy Center of Brevard, Tyler is committed to supporting mental health services and programs vital to the health and safety of Florida families and businesses.

Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey announced his endorsement in June of Republican Tyler Sirois for the District 51 seat in the Florida House of Representatives. Sirois qualified for the ballot by collecting the required 1,160 signed petitions from registered voters in his district.

“I am confident that as a member of the Florida House of Representatives, Tyler will be a strong supporter of the Second Amendment and tough on crime. For all of these reasons, Tyler Sirois has earned my endorsement as our next state representative.”

Sirois is the Executive Director of the Office of the State Attorney for the 18th Judicial Circuit and is running to represent District 51 in the Florida House of Representatives, which includes Cape Canaveral, Cocoa, Cocoa Beach, Merritt Island, and Rockledge.

The seat is currently held by Representative Tom Goodson who is term-limited.
