Two Armed Robbers Nabbed By Titusville Police After Suspect Leaves Cell Phone Behind

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Police arrested two Titusville men over the weekend after one of the suspects left behind his cell phone during an armed home robbery.

The suspects arrested have been identified as 20-year-old Dylan Mikail Robinson and 20-year-old Marquis Daquan Cook.

According to Officer Amy Matthews of the Titusville Police Department, police say they received call after midnight on Sunday about a armed home invasion robbery on Prairie Lane.

When police arrived, they found the victims beaten with non-life threatening injuries and were told by the victims that the suspects stole some of their property and cash.

During the investigation, police found one of the suspects had dropped his cell phone.

“Detectives quickly used the information from the dropped phone, located the suspects and made two arrests,” said Matthews.

Robinson has been charged with the following: Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon, 1st Degree Felony with a Deadly Weapon, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Robbery with a Firearm.

Cook has also been charged with the following: Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon, 1st Degree Felony with a Deadly Weapon, Robbery with a Firearm, and Violation of Probation

Robinson and Cook were booked into the Brevard County Jail and are currently being held without bond.
