BREVARD COUNTY – MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Brevard Zoo guests have a few more days to see their friends at Butterflies and the Magic of Nature. The exhibit, which opened on Saturday, May 26, will close on Sunday, September 30.
May marked the first time in three years that the Zoo housed butterflies.
Aside from the hundreds of native Florida insects, the exhibit also features juvenile goats, lemurs, colorful birds, a massive snapping turtle, hands-on nature play activities and training demonstrations.
Guests will be able to find the goats—Lilly and Violet—and chickens in the Zoo’s Petting Zone after the exhibit closes.
Butterflies and the Magic of Nature is presented by Hope and Brian Fisher and runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily with last entry at 4:30 p.m. The exhibit is included with general Zoo admission.
