COLLEGE SPORTS: Eastern Florida State Soccer Teams Unbeaten, Have Home Games This Week

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College soccer teams are unbeaten heading into the first week of September.

The men’s soccer team will take center stage on Thursday night when they host Broward College in the Region 8 Conference opener at Titan Soccer Complex.

The Titans head into the matchup 3-0 and have outscored opponents 25-3 this season as 12 different players have scored led by sophomore Jimmy Mwanga who has four.

Broward College will be making its 2018 debut on Thursday night.

The women’s soccer team also heads into the week 3-0 after wins against two Top 25 teams and have scored 14 goals while allowing just one goal so far this season with two clean sheets. Sophomore Ebony Wiseman has three goals and three assists in three games.

The volleyball team is looking to get on track Saturday afternoon in Gainesville when they compete in a tri-match with host Santa Fe College and Florida Gateway. The Titans are led by sophomore Carley Gregory who has 33 kills in three matches.

The softball team will also be playing an exhibition game Saturday afternoon at Titan Softball Complex.

Admission to Titans sporting events is free.
