Conrad “Connie” Cunic passed away peacefully on August 25, 2018, in Cocoa Beach. After three years in the U.S. Army, he played baseball for the New York Giants farm team, then moved to Cocoa Beach and operated the Esquire Painting & Roofing business.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – Conrad “Connie” Cunic passed away peacefully on August 25, 2018, in Cocoa Beach.

Connie was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pa., and he returned there often to visit relatives and friends. After three years in the U.S. Army, he played baseball for the New York Giants farm team, then moved to Cocoa Beach and operated the Esquire Painting & Roofing business.

Connie was an avid golfer as well as an animal lover and he developed many friendships over the years.

He is survived by his sister, Lilyan Lamb; his niece, Deborah Wyatt and husband Sam; and his lifelong best friend, Helen Ghianni. His mother, Mary; father, Joseph; and brother, Leonard; all predeceased him.

A graveside service with military honors will take place at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery on September 5, 2018, at 11 a.m.

Friends and family are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brevard Humane Society, 1020 Cox Road, Cocoa, FL 32926. A memorial celebration of his life will be announced at a future date.
