Eastern Florida State Gets Swept At Home To Santa Fe 25-17, 27-25, 25-17

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s volleyball lost to Santa Fe in three sets Saturday afternoon at Titan Field House.

After losing the first set 25-17, the Titans came out strong in the second set, taking an early 8-4 lead and would hold the lead for much of the first half of the set. Tied 15-15 the two teams would trade points and tied 25-25, Santa Fe would get the final two points to win the second set.

The third set started the same way as the two teams were tied 10-10 before the Saints took the lead for good and win the set 25-17.

The Titans (0-3) will travel to Santa Fe next Saturday for a tri-match with the Saints and Florida Gateway College. It is the first two of 10 straight road matches for the Titans who are not back at Titan Field House until Sept. 28.
