Solaris Senior Living Merritt Island Women’s Health Extravaganza Coming To Merritt Island Thursday

SET FOR Thursday, October 4, 9 a.m. to 12 noon

Solaris Senior Living Merritt Island, in conjunction with Health First, is hosting a Women’s Health Extravaganza on Thursday, October 4. Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey will deliver a keynote presentation on “Self Defense and Crime Prevention.”

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND FLORIDA – Solaris Senior Living Merritt Island, in conjunction with Health First, is hosting a Women’s Health Extravaganza on Thursday, October 4.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at Solaris Senior Living, located at 535 Crockett Boulevard.

The Extravaganza will be open to the public as well as to residents and families of Solaris.

“We’re excited to offer the Women’s Health Extravaganza to our residents and the community,” said Shawn Corley, Solaris Senior Living Administrator.

“Together with Health First, we invite the community to take advantage of this fun, information-filled event, and get health-related questions answered.”

Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey will deliver a keynote presentation on “Self Defense and Crime Prevention” at 10:15 a.m. Sheriff Ivey will discuss crime prevention for women and address the range of valuable services the Sheriff’s Office offers the local community.

At 11:15 a.m., urogynecologist Marja Sprock, MD, will speak on “Managing Incontinence.” Her presentation will be followed by a question and answer session.

Attendees can also talk with Dr. Romain Onteniente of Merritt Island Foot & Ankle at an “Ask The Podiatrist” booth.
