BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – In this week’s episode of “Cookin’ Up Justice” with Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey highlights an 11-year old cold case involving the shooting death of a Port St. John’s man.

On May 9, 2007, Brevard County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a shooting in Port St. John.

On arrival, Deputies discovered Bennie Carter shot and killed outside his residence in the front yard, located at 4395 Kings Highway.

The shooting appeared to be an isolated incident, with Carter being specifically targeted.

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public if they have any information regarding the homicide.
