A motorcyclist in Titusville was rushed to the hospital Tuesday morning with life-threatening injuries after he crashed into a pickup truck at the intersection of Park Ave. and South St., according to Titusville  Police.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – A motorcyclist in Titusville was rushed to the hospital Tuesday morning with life-threatening injuries after he crashed into a pickup truck at the intersection of Park Ave. and South St., according to Titusville  Police.

The identity of the motorcyclist has not yet been released by police.

The investigation by police has revealed that the crash happened around 6:30 a.m. when police were called to a reported traffic crash involving a motorcycle near the intersection of Park Ave. and South St.

Police have determined that the motorcyclist was driving northbound on South St. in a black 2008 Yamaha FJR sport motorcycle when a vehicle turned in front of him, who was bound for the Cumberland Farms store.

The driver of the 1991 Dodge Dakota pickup truck has been identified as 29-year-old Prentis Nelson Williams from Titusville.

Police say Williams was the only person in the truck and had no injuries.
