ORLANDO, FLORIDA (WKMG) – Knights fans are planning to bring the University of Central Florida nation to the annual Florida-Georgia game Saturday in Jacksonville.

UCF alumni, including “super fan” Chad Barr, are organizing buses from Altamonte Springs to shuttle fans from Orlando to Jacksonville to stage an “epic takeover” of ESPN’s College GameDay at TIAA Stadium, according to the Facebook event titled “UCF College GameDay Invasion Force.”

“We UCF fans and alumni have decided to stage an epic takeover to continue to show the country what UCF Nation is all about and that we will not be silenced or back down from anyone,” according to the page.

Barr said since the show is happening two hours away, he wanted to do his part to bring UCF fans to Jacksonville.

“We’re just trying to rally the fan base around our program,” he said.

This comes after “College GameDay” criticized and laughed about the UCF football team’s playing capabilities in a 2 1/2 minute debate Saturday.
