Retired Palm Bay Police Department K9 ‘Jelani’ Passed Away Due to Prolonged Illness

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Retired Palm Bay Police Department K9 “Jelani” passed away Nov. 9 after battling a prolonged illness.

“K9 Jelani was the dedicated and faithful partner of Officer J. Moreno for two years before being forced to retire,” said Palm Bay police officials.

“They would like to thank the entire Moreno family for honoring the pledge we all take, to support our partners in Blue. You will always be remembered. RIP Jeli.”
