On Saturday, Dec. 22, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., bring the kids to the Brevard County Animal Care Center in Melbourne so they can read Christmas stories and feed holiday snacks to the Animal Care Center homeless pets, take photos with Santa and hear “Twas The Night Before Christmas” by Sheriff Wayne Ivey and his wife, Susan.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Twas the Night Before Christmas and all through the shelter, not a single dog was barking because the children were reading them stories.

On Saturday, Dec. 22, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., bring the kids to the Brevard County Animal Care Center in Melbourne so they can read Christmas stories and feed holiday snacks to the Animal Care Center homeless pets, take photos with Santa and hear “Twas The Night Before Christmas” by Sheriff Wayne Ivey and his wife, Susan.

“Children of all ages are invited to join us for a fun-filled evening of reading Christmas stories to our animals as we make sure they have a great Christmas at the Care Center,” said Sheriff Ivey.

Wayne and Susan will be reading “Twas the Night Before Christmas” to all the kids and parents who are on hand for this very special event, that also includes pictures with Santa and delicious holiday snacks and fun for everyone.

The Brevard County Animal Care Center is located at 5100 West Eau Gaille Boulevard in Melbourne.
