Palm Bay Police Conclude Yearly K9 Certification Through North American Police Work Dog Association

K9'S Jasper and Archer performed admirably

ABOVE VIDEO: The Palm Bay Police K9 Unit recently concluded their yearly K9 certification through North American Police Work Dog Association. 

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The Palm Bay Police K9 Unit recently concluded their yearly K9 certification through North American Police Work Dog Association. 

The certification areas were patrol based functions and drug detection.

K9 Officer B. Patrick and K9 Officer Hurtado conducted 30 plus certification and training drug sniffs.

K9 Jasper (handled by Officer Patrick) and K9 Archer (handled by Officer Hurtado) performed admirably.

In the process of certifying through NAPWDA, they were also able to obtain their certification through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

The certification was co-hosted by the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office and Titusville Police Department.
