Detectives and patrol officers will continue operation throughout holiday shopping season

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Police are working overtime this holiday season protecting shoppers with the proactive crime prevention initiative “Operation Shop Safe.”

Police will be out in full force to ensure that the citizens of Titusville stay safe as they fill their loved ones’ Christmas and holiday wish lists.

“Operation Shop Safe” is a law enforcement detail that specifically targets shopping venues with additional security.

Officers will be highly visible and shoppers can expect to see an increased law enforcement presence patrolling targeted areas on foot, in marked police vehicles, and in unmarked vehicles.

Police continue to encourage all citizen’s to lock car doors, keep packages and gifts out of plain sight, maintain vigilant situational awareness while shopping and loading packages into vehicles and to speak up if anything seems out of the ordinary.

Detectives and patrol officers will continue this operation throughout the entire holiday shopping season.
