Boil Water Notice Rescinded in Mims Area After Bacteriological Tests Confirm Water Safe

The precautionary boil water notice sent out on Saturday for select addresses in the Mims area has been rescinded.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The precautionary boil water notice sent out on Saturday for select addresses in the Mims area has been rescinded.

The following addresses were under the boil water notice, but bacteriological testing has confirmed the water is safe for consumption:

– All of Rudge Drive, Watts Drive, Tom Court, Jaydee Drive, Trieste Drive and Webb Court
– Holder Park Drive at these addresses: 4004, 4005, 4012, 4020, 4021, 4028, 4091, 4099, 4149; 4155, 4165, 4179 and 4185
– Holder Park at 2650 Glendale Blvd

No other addresses were affected, and the precautionary boil water notice is no longer in place.

The notice was issued as a result of a water main that was broken by a post hole digger on Rudge Road in Mims. Repairs to the system have been completed.
