No. 25 Eastern Florida Defeats Harcum College 87-77 In Josh Artis Memorial Classic

Titans Face Off Against Monroe College on Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball team held off Harcum College 87-77 on Day 2 of the Josh Artis Memorial Classic Monday evening at Titan Field House.

The No. 25 Titans, who improved to 13-4, led from the start and went into halftime with a 47-31 lead.

Harcum would come back and cut the lead to five with five minutes to go but a big three-point play by Jalen Warren and a 3-pointer by Ayo Dada put the Titans back up by nine and the team made the free throws down the stretch to secure the win.

It was the fifth win in six games for the Titans who beat Harcum for the second time this season.

Warren led the way with 16 points, marking the fourth straight game in which the sophomore guard has scored at least 12 points in a game. Teammate Ayo Dada had 12 points and Jonathan Ned and Nick Stampley each finished with 11 points.

Day 3 of the Josh Artis Memorial Classic will begin at 2 p.m. when Harcum College plays Miami Dade who lost to Monroe College 100-82 in the first game.

The Titans will face Monroe College in the second game of the day, tipping off at 4 p.m. Admission is free to games at Titan Field House.
