BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida State College basketball players Ilija Stefanovic and Angeni Worley were named student-athletes of the week for the week ending Jan. 20.

Stefanovic, a sophomore from Novi Sad, Serbia, helped the men’s basketball pick up a Mid-Florida Conference road win against Santa Fe, scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds.

It was Stefanovic’s best game as a Titan and his first double-double of the season.

Worley, a sophomore from Orlando, hit five 3-pointers and scored a season-high 17 points as the Titans defeated Hillsborough Community College in a Suncoast Conference game last week.

Worley has made at least one 3-pointer in every game this season and has made 45 3-pointers this season.

The men’s basketball team will travel to the College of Central Florida to face the first-place Patriots on Wednesday night before hosting the Florida State College at Jacksonville on Jan. 30 at Titan Field House.

The women’s team will be off until Jan. 30 when they will host St. Petersburg College at 5:30 p.m.
