Two Search Warrants In Melbourne Leads To Three Suspects Arrested On Drug Charges

Melbourne Police arrested three suspects this week for various drug charges following two search warrants.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne Police arrested three suspects this week for various drug charges following two search warrants.

Police say they received a number of complaints about drug activity at the two residences located on the 900 block of Wisteria Dr. and 3500 block of Linden Way.

The search warrants resulted in police finding 12.8 grams of Fentanyl, 7.8 grams of Cocaine, 1 gram of Morphine, 75.8 grams of Marijuana and two firearms.

The following suspects were arrested:

– Joseph Washington, 34, has been charged with Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Sell and Sale of Cocaine

– Mitchell Smith, 59, has been  charged with Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Sell and Sale of Cocaine

– Frederick Monroe, 50, has been charged with Possession of Heroin, Possession of Morphine and Driving with a Suspended License

All three suspects have been booked into the Brevard County Jail.
