BREVARD LEGISLATIVE DELEGATION MEETING SET TUESDAY

REP. RANDY FINE WEEKLY UPDATE: Thank you for listening to my first live update of the 2019 Legislative Session. I’ll be providing an update on all the activities of the past week, and a look at the week ahead. Questions are welcome.

TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA – Rep. Randy Fine, R-Palm Bay, presented his first video weekly report of 2019 and talked about his first bill for the 2019 Legislative Session which will provide $50 million in annual state funding to save the Indian River Lagoon.

“HB 141, is essential to bring $50 million a year in matching funds to extend sewer systems, connect homes to sewer lines, and upgrade existing plants to remove nutrients,” said Fine.

“Another first — my first article as a House Chairman. This has been by far the busiest and most exciting week I have had since starting this journey two years ago. I cannot put into words how grateful I am to Speaker Oliva for entrusting me with this responsibility — and more importantly, my constituents for granting me this unbelievable privilege.”

“I hope this information makes it easy for Brevardians to participate in this open and accessible process.”

In addition to Fine, the Brevard Legislative Delegation consists of five other members of the Florida Legislature including Senator Debbie Mayfield, R-District 17; Senator Tommy Wright, R-District 18; Representative Rene Plasencia, R-District 50; Representative Tyler Sirois, R-District 51; and Representative Thad Altman, R-District 52.
