BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA (WESH) – A woman has been arrested and charged with murder after her boyfriend’s dismembered and decomposing body was found in a camper at Wickham Park in Melbourne.

The arrest of Penny Rebecca Pospisil, 47, was announced on Friday by the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators said they believe Anthony Franklin Mitchell, 55, was murdered in August in Lake Panasoffkee.

Mitchell’s family told investigators they’d last heard from him in August 2018. Investigators said Mitchell and Pospisil were living together at the Lake Panasoffkee RV Village at the time.
