Titans move up to second place in Suncoast Conference standings

TAMPA BAY, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s basketball team moved into sole possession of second place in the Suncoast Conference with a road win against Hillsborough Community College on Saturday.

The Titans defeated Hillsborough 83-73 and are now 3-2 in the conference and 13-10 overall.

Five players scored in double figures for Eastern Florida, led by Skye Williams who had 20 points in the game. It marked the third time this season that Williams has scored at least 20 points in a game.

Teammate Sierra Votaw finished with 18 points while Angeni Worley had 14, Jacquelyn Levay scored 13 and Taylor Jones finished with 10 points.

The win is the second straight and third in four games for the Titans who will host first-place Florida Southwestern Wednesday night at 5:30 p.m. at Titan Field House. Admission is free.
