BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Third Annual Downtown Melbourne Botanical Fest will be held Saturday, March 2, in the 1900 Building lot in Historic Downtown Melbourne.

“We’re thrilled to host this great event for the third year, and to be involved in a community that values the importance and beauty of plants, flowers and trees,” said Brad Brewer, the Executive Director of Melbourne Main Street.

The Botanical Festival takes place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 2 and will feature over 35 vendors from across the state selling a variety of plants, flowers and trees, including rare orchids, succulents, bonsai, Florida-friendly landscaping and more.

This year, Melbourne Main Street is excited to partner with the Marine Resources Council to promote their rain barrel program and support their mission to deploy hundreds of rain barrels to prevent polluted stormwater from entering our lagoon.

The MRC will be offering two Rain Barrel workshops at the festival at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
