BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA (WFTV) – Friends and relatives are looking for answers after the body of a missing Brevard County mother was found in rural Osceola County.
Tashaun Jackson was last seen a week ago in Cocoa at a 7-Eleven on Dixon Boulevard.
On Friday night, investigators announced they had found her body far away in Osceola County.
Jackson’s body was found near Deer Park and Nova roads in a remote, wooded area.
In the hours since police discovered Jackson’s body, her family said they’ve been trying to process it all.
“She didn’t do anything to anyone,” said Jackson’s cousin, Sh’Mika Scott-Devoe. “It’s hard to stop the tears. It’s hard to stop the guilt.”
