Precautionary Boil Water Notice For Barefoot Bay Area Lifted: City Officials

A precautionary boil water notice in place since March 11 in areas of Barefoot Bay has been rescinded following repairs and completion of the bacteriological survey indicating the water is safe to drink.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – A precautionary boil water notice in place since March 11 in areas of Barefoot Bay has been rescinded following repairs and completion of the bacteriological survey indicating the water is safe to drink.

The boil water notice is no longer in place for residents in the following areas of Barefoot Bay:

– Kiwi, Sapodilla, Lychee, Persimmon, Loquat, Macadamia, Longan, Avacado, Citron, Sapote, Akee and Kumquat drives
– Tamarind and Papaya circles
– Almond and Fig courts
– Sebastian Road

If you do not live at addresses at one of these locations, you were not affected by the precautionary boil water notice.
