BREAKING: UCF Knights Season Ends After Losing Heartbreaker To No. 1 Duke 77-76

COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA – UCF Knights nearly pulled off a historic win against No. 1 Duke on Sunday but fell just short 77-76 in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

The Knights (24-9) had a shot to win the game in the final possession but a last second tip by Aubrey Dawkins rolled off the rim and was rebounded Duke to end the game.

The Knight were led by junior Aubrey Dawkins who totaled 32 points.

Center Tacko Fall recorded 15 points before fouling out with less than 20 seconds in the game.

Duke will play Friday and face off against the winner of the Liberty vs Virginia Tech game.

The Knights end their season with their best finish in school history and earning their first ever tournament win when they defeated VCU on Friday.
