BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The City of Melbourne has recently completed several projects to improve Crane Creek Reserve and Mallards Landing golf courses.

According to the City of Melbourne, many upgrades have been made to enhance golfers’ experiences both on and off the course, including the launch of a new website that will allow golfers to easily book tee times and find out about events and promotions at the courses.

Course improvements include healthier putting surfaces and faster greens, new yardage markers, yardage stakes and flags, and renovated clubhouse lounges.

More than $200,000 has been invested in equipment improvements, and both courses now offer a fleet of EZGO TXT Model golf carts for more comfortable transportation.

Customer service has greatly improved along with course conditions and improvements, while pricing remains competitive.

Facebook pages have been created for each course featuring contests; event and league promotions; as well as photos of events, tournaments, and outings.

“If you haven’t been out to one of our courses in a while, I encourage you to come back soon and see all of the upgrades we have done,” said Kevin Briski, Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Melbourne.

Crane Creek Reserve Golf Course is located at 475 West New Haven Avenue. Originally designed by Donald Ross in the 1920s, it is one of the featured courses on the Florida Historic Golf Trail.

Mallards Landing opened in the 1970s. It’s located at 2750 Lake Washington Road.
