Brevard County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested 47-year-old Lorie Morin and booked her into the Brevard County Jail on No Bond.

The investigation has revealed that deputies responded to a call Wednesday evening about a man who had been shot inside a residence on Emerald Lake Dr.

After deputies arrived, the victim was taken to a local hospital where he is in stable condition recovering from his injury.

“Initial reports and the preliminary investigation that included both parties’ statements claimed the incident was an accidental shooting,” said Tod Goodyear of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.

“As the investigation continued, it was determined that the shooting actually occurred during a domestic violence incident between the female suspect and the male victim.”
