BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – In this week’s edition of “Sit Down with Steve,” the Friday Night Locker Room’s Steve Wilson talks with Mark Carstens and Rob McKenna about Warrior Misfits.

The Warrior Misfits is a non-profit organization that works with Iraq/Afghanistan Veterans.

They are involved in basically two areas, including providing Emergency Assistance such as rent assistance, utility shut-off, automobile repairs; and working with Veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

McKenna is the co-founder and director of Warrior Misfits. Carstens, as athletic director at Cocoa High School, has contacts with young people and athletic directors around the county.

His hope is to have more of Brevard County involved with the Warrior Misfits.

The Warrior Misfits are based out of Satellite Beach, Florida. If you would like more information about them, please see Facebook.com/Warrior Misfits, or call 321-272-8749.
