BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Police Detective Christopher Gallo and nearly 200 members of law enforcement from all over the state of Florida participated in the 22nd annual Florida Tour De Force.

The 275-mile charity bicycle ride from North Miami Beach to Daytona Beach was held to honor and raise money for the surviving families of Florida’s Law Enforcement Fallen Heroes.

The city of Titusville hosted the last overnight stop for cyclists before they headed north Friday morning to finish the final leg, which culminated in a memorial lap around the Daytona International Speedway track.

Money raised will be presented to the families of fallen officers at a memorial service during National Police Week in Washington D.C. in May 2019.

“There is nothing more motivating than seeing hundreds of men and women riding bicycles in tandem to support the families of officers, who have paid the ultimate sacrifice,” said Chief John Lau.

“The Titusville Police Department looks forward every year to this event.”
