Health First is incredibly proud of the care its associates and physicians provide each and every day to produce high-quality outcomes. Health First’s Viera Hospital received five stars – the highest accolade possible. Only 6% of hospitals in the country achieved this mark of excellence.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – At Health First, we are incredibly proud of the care our associates and physicians provide each and every day to produce high-quality outcomes.

Our most recent hospital quality ratings from the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) are evidence we are providing our customers with exceptional care.

CMS Hospital Compare uses a five-star rating system for patient experience and quality of care outcomes. Health First’s four hospitals fared as such:

  • Health First’s Viera Hospital received five stars – the highest accolade possible. Only 6% of hospitals in the country achieved this mark of excellence.
  • Health First’s Cape Canaveral Hospital and Health First’s Palm Bay Hospital both received four stars. Only 24% of hospitals nationwide reached this benchmark.
  • Health First’s Holmes Regional Medical Center was rated three stars – just 28% of hospitals in the country made this mark.
