Florida Tech Panthers Unveil New Brand Identity for its Athletics Program, Features More Modernized Look

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Florida Tech has unveiled a new brand identity for its athletics program. The new identity feature more modernized versions of the University’s existing brandmarks.
The athletics logos are part of a comprehensive redesign of Florida Tech’s overall visual identity.
New logos and brandmarks for the University were launched in early May while Athletics halted its release until the completion of the 2018-19 athletics year.
The new visual identities were developed through a coordinated effort between the University’s Office of Marketing and Communications and the Department of Athletic Communications.
As part of the redesign and modernized move of the University, Florida Tech has retired the usage of “FIT” and will now be identified as Florida Tech, FT, or Tech.
Additionally, Athletics has made updates to the social media accounts for all 19 of its varsity sports programs as well as its main athletics social media accounts.
The new handle of the official Twitter and Instagram pages for Florida Tech Athletics will now be @FT_Athletics.
The athletic logos include a more modernized Panther logo, a new FT mark and several options for wordmarks. The athletics color palette has also changed slightly with new bolder versions of the crimson and gray being utilized.
The new visual identity replaces Florida Tech’s current athletic logos, which were created in 2010. Florida Tech will begin implementing the new designs this summer.
