Indian River City Beats Space Coast, Merritt Island Defeats Mims In District 22 Little League All-Star Action

Indian River City will meet Rockledge in Friday night's District 22 Little League action
BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – The Florida District 22 Little League All-Star Tournament continued at W.W. James Park in the 8-9-10 baseball division on Thursday evening.
INDIAN RIVER CITY 12, SPACE COAST 1
• On Field #1, Space Coast Little League met Indian River City Little League.
For Space Coast, Brayden Wyman accounted for their lone run. For Indian River City, Ryland Nicolaisen went 2-for-2 and scored twice.
Ethan Lynskey, Jesse Decter and Chase Hill each added 2 runs for the 12-1 Indian River City victory in 3 1/2 innings.
MERRITT ISLAND 21, MIMS 2
• On Field #2, Merritt Island Little League and Mims Little League were paired.
Mims Little League’s Caleb Focht and Aiden Dyer scored their team’s 2 runs. But, Merritt Island’s bats were hot tonight as Ty Brandes and Liam Miller each went 4-for-4 and scored 4 runs.
Seth Easton, Zane Taival, Aiden Doherty and Knox Silva each scored 2 runs as Merritt Island went on to win 21-2 in 3 innings.
Indian River City will meet Rockledge in Friday night’s action.
