MOAACC Recognizes 34 Brevard Students Who Received Military Academy Appointments, ROTC Scholarships

BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – The Military Officers Association of America’s Cape Canaveral Chapter recognized 34 Brevard County students who this year received appointments to military academies and ROTC scholarships.

Thirty-four students from around the county were honored at a luncheon held by MOAACC at the Indian River Colony Club in Viera.

The students, who were praised by MOAACC officials as future leaders, are headed to the U.S. Military Academy, the U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Naval Academy and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, as well as colleges with Reserve Officer Training Corps.

They will major in studies that include aeronautical engineering, chemical engineering, aerospace engineering, premedical and veterinary medicine.
