BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – In this edition of “Sit Down with Steve,” Steve Wilson talks with 16-year-old Coral Schuster, who is the reigning Breakfast of Champions Female Surfer of the Year.

Schuster has achieved a great deal of success on the surfboard at a very young age.

Among the many accolades she has received, Schuster has been a member of the U.S. National Junior Team, is ranked #14 on the North American Junior Pro Circuit, was the U-14 East Coast U.S. Champion and U-14 Atlantic Surfing Federation Champion.

Not only is Schuster a special talent in the water, but she excels, even more so, out of the water.

She founded Groms for God, which gives young people in the surf community an outlet to share their faith.

Schuster also created the Blue Cross Movement. She has always had a blue cross on her surfboard to represent her strong faith and has used that signature as another way to bring young people together.

Schuster is a very special young lady, and we on the Space Coast are proud to call her “one of our own.”
