Sixty Space Coast Prominent Citizens Selected for Leadership Brevard Class of 2020

Sixty local leaders have been selected for the Leadership Brevard Class of 2020 – LEAD Brevard’s flagship program for emerging and established community leaders, founded in 1985.

BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – Sixty local leaders have been selected for the Leadership Brevard Class of 2020 – LEAD Brevard’s flagship program for emerging and established community leaders.

LEAD Brevard was founded in 1985 and manages several leadership programs and oversees community initiatives that help to achieve its mission of “working together to strengthen our community by inspiring people to lead.” 

These leaders engage from September 2019 through April 2020 developing relationships within the class; connecting with current leaders addressing community issues and learning about Brevard County in-depth and exploring opportunities for increased civic involvement.

The curriculum adjusts annually to reflect the leadership needs in Brevard and sessions provide access to the decision-makers in the community.

Facilitating connections with current community leaders enhances the relationships and highlights the value that business leaders place on leadership development.

“Brevard’s future will be determined by its leadership,” said says LEAD Brevard’s board chairman, Dale Ketcham of Space Florida.   

“We are honored to provide this next class with a framework of community awareness and a rich network of others equally dedicated. With that foundation and their own individual passions and interests, this community will be well prepared for the challenges of today and tomorrow.”
