BREVARD COUNTY COVID-19 UPDATE

A special-called meeting of the Brevard County Board of County Commissioners is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, March 27, at the Government Center, 2725 Fran Jamieson Way, in Viera.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – A special-called meeting of the Brevard County Board of County Commissioners is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, March 27, at the Government Center, 2725 Fran Jamieson Way, in Viera.

The meeting has been called in the event the Policy Group, made up of county and municipal government, health, schools, public safety and law enforcement officials, and activated for the COVID-19 pandemic, takes any actions that morning related to the implementation of additional restrictions (e.g., limiting the operating hours of the beaches).

Beach closings are already in place in Flagler, St. Lucie, Indian River and Martin counties.

The special meeting will provide County Commissioners a chance to review any actions taken or recommendations made.

Should no additional restrictions be proposed, by the Policy Group, this meeting will be canceled.
