Brevard County Fire Rescue, Four Communities Volunteer Fire Units Douse Vacant Home Fire in North Cocoa

Second structure fire in 15 hours for Engine 26 and Engine 29

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue units made a quick knockdown of a vacant home at Yarmark and Iris Street in North Cocoa on Wednesday afternoon.

Brevard County Fire Rescue units made a primary and secondary search of the structure and determined there was nobody inside.

This is the second structure fire in 15 hours for Engine 26 and Engine 29.

The Four Communities Volunteer Fire Department was on the scene assisting with their air unit.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
