BUSTED: Citizen Complaints Lead to Three Drug Arrests by Titusville Police Department

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Police have completed a month-long undercover narcotics investigation utilizing complaints and leads from community members resulted in the arrest of three suspects who were in possession of drugs, cash, and a weapon.

The drug enforcement initiative was headed up by the Titusville Police Department’s Special Investigation Section and included assistance from multiple Brevard County Law Enforcement Agencies.

The following suspects were arrested and charged with the following:

– Essie Junior Evans, a convicted felon, 47, of Titusville- Possession of Cocaine, Intent to Sell Cocaine, Trafficking Cocaine, and Possession of a Controlled Substance Without a Prescription.

– Jvarziea Shavalleuguene Dukes, a convicted felon, 32, of Titusville- Possession of Cocaine, Intent to Sell Cocaine and Possession of Drug Manufacturing Equipment.

– Antwan Lamont Bell, 38, of Brandon- Resisting Arrest Without Violence.

Detectives received valuable information from concerned citizens who had witnessed drug-related activities occurring in their neighborhood.

Titusville and Palm Bay Police SWAT team members served a warrant on Tuesday, April 21, at a residence on Pine Valley Lane where the suspects were living.

“Detectives made the three arrests and seized 67.8 grams of cocaine, 9.5 grams of Xanax, various prescription medication, and thousands of dollars in cash linked to suspected drug transactions,” said Amy Matthews of the Titusville Police Department.

All three suspects were booked into the Brevard County Jail.

In addition, the City of Titusville Code Enforcement Division cited the property with multiple code violations and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Animal Services unit assisted in securing the animals on the property and cited additional violations.
